Committees exist “to advise the Directors; to assist in day-to-day operations of the Park; to assist in preparation of Park Budgets; and to assist in other matters deemed necessary by the Directors.” Committee members and chairpersons are appointed by the Board of Directors and serve at the pleasure of the Board.

Committees play a vital role in the operation of the Community. The current Board of Directors attempted to use “Committee Charters” (Charters) to document the formation of committees, the committees primary tasks and the committees primary deliverables. Members were uncomfortable with this means of documenting so Charters are not currently being used.
