Board of Directors Meeting Announced - June 22 at 7:00
Second Annual Meeting Held
January 29, 2009
Tropical Isles Co-op, Inc. held its second Annual Meeting of
Shareholders on January 26 at the Tropical Isles Mobile Home Park
Clubhouse.
President George Russell called the meeting to order and the board
received a number officer and committee reports. Russell thanked all
of the serving Directors for their dedication and effort over the
past year.
The terms of three Directors were completed. Accordingly, the
election of individuals to fill the three Directorships where held.
Jim Culver, Harvey Sofen and George Russell were elected to two year
terms as Directors.
Board of Directors Organization Meeting
Immediately follow the election of Directors and the adjournment of the Annual Meeting of Shareholders, the new Board of Directors convened for an organizational meeting. The Directors elected Harvey Sofen to serve as their President and the Chief Executive Officer of the Co-op. James (Jim) Culver was elected Vice-president, Luella (Lou) Switara was elected Treasurer and Virginia (Ginny) Young was elected Secretary.
